Hawes is a busy little market town famous for its Wensleydale Cheese.There is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops and there is a street market every Tuesday.
The area abounds in lovely waterfalls to visit, including Hardraw Force, Mill Gill Falls, Aysgarth Falls, Cotter Force and, just outside the village Aisgill Force. A few miles away is beautiful Semerwater, the largest natural lake in Yorkshire.
Situated only about 500 yards from the Pennine Way, Dales View is the perfect centre for walking, cycling and touring.
