Dales View is situated in the picturesque village of Gayle, near Hawes in Upper Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. Overlooked by the fells, Duerely Beck cascades down the centre of the village in a pretty series of waterfalls, then passes the old Gayle Mill (featured on the BBC Restoration programme and recently renovated) before passing below Bealah Bank to Hawes, which is half a mile away.
